Awesome, awesome Italian dinners that you can just grab and re-heat at home! They’ve been around forever, and there’s a good reason…great stuff! The homemade mozzarella is killer, and they rotate flavors of items throughout the week, so you never know what you’ll find fresh, but they box the stuff that doesn’t sell each day and freeze it, so you can usually find what you want. They’re worth the trip…check them out!

Simply said, I love this place. I have lived in Scotch Plains for 17 years. The owners instantly made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Needles to say this has led to Florence Ravioli being a well anticipated weekly shopping destination. Now for the good part…I have lived in Brooklyn and grew up in first generation Italian American neighborhood on Long Island. No where I have been has made more consistent and delicious pastas. Their ravioli is exceptional. Every variety of “the home of rectangular ravioli” is tasty. Their whole wheat pastas are exceptional. When I visit family, I bring coolers filled with ravioli (cheese, lobster, spinach, and sausage), manicotti, stuffed shells, cavatelli, fettuccine, angel hair & spaghetti. There assortment of takeout meals is exceptional, chicken, shrimp and pastas. If you have tried their meatball sliders or calzones, you are really missing something special. Great cold cuts, Italian sausage, bread and fresh mozzarella. They have catered several large family parties through the years. My family looks forward to them every time. GGOD FOOD MADE BY GREAT PEOPLE!!!

Excellent homemade ravioli and Stromboli. Note this is not a restaurant; this is a store and deli that sells outstanding homemade food. I pick up their homemade pasta at least once a month. Highly recommended!

For the past 30 that I have lived in Scotch Plains, I have been a customer of Florence Ravioli. The food is always the best homemade pasta you can get anywhere. I’ve had Florence cater numerous events and the owners Ralph and Cyndy are always there to help you plan it out and get the amount of food right!  I stop in once a week and buy all my cold cuts there (they have boars head, which is the best). Also, fresh rolls and bread. My favorites are the chicken francaise, the stuffed shells, manicotti, sausage and peppers, pepperoni Stromboli, and everything else!! So if you want some REAL homemade Italian food, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Florence Ravioli is a home-style deli that specializes in ravioli. But don’t let the name fool you; that’s not the only thing made here. The store serves a variety of Italian favorites including stromboli and zucchini parmigiana.
